Terms and refunds

Short version: you buy digital products from a small studio. Use them for your own work, including work you earn from. Don't resell or share them. If it doesn't work for you, you get your money back within 14 days.

Who sells to you

Our shop is run by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record. Polar is the seller on your receipt: it takes the payment, charges any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies where you live, and handles refunds. We never see your card details. Arc Lab makes the products and supports you.

What we sell

• The Arc Lab Series Skill: a skill for Claude Code, its engine, the original character kit, templates, lessons and every v1 update. One payment.
• Arc Lab Studio: an add-on for Series Skill owners, paid monthly or yearly: a new pack each month, the recorded monthly teardown, the members' Discord and early access to v2. It doesn't include the Series Skill itself.
• Packs and the Making-of Pack: one-off downloads.

Everything is delivered digitally: a download, access to a private GitHub repository, or an invite to our Discord. Nothing is shipped.

The Series Skill is a code toolkit that runs on your own computer. Our rendering code draws every frame, and no AI model makes the pictures. We don't resell access to any AI service. Narration uses the stock voices of your own ElevenLabs account, with no voice cloning.

What you'll need

Claude Code with a paid Claude plan (Pro or Max) or a pay-as-you-go Claude API key; Windows 10/11 or macOS 12+ with about 2 GB free; an ElevenLabs account for the voices (a paid ElevenLabs plan if you'll publish commercially); and a few hours of the skill working per episode. Those are other companies' services, with their own prices and terms. Please check you have them before you buy: the setup guide shows every step.

Your licence

• One purchase is for one person. You may install it on your own computers.
• What you make is yours. The episodes, characters and stories you create with the skill belong to you, and you may earn from them.
• You may not resell, share, upload or give away the skill, its engine, the packs, the lessons or your repository access, in whole or in part.
• Making series for paying clients needs the commercial licence, when we offer one.
• If you break these terms, we may end your access to updates, the repository and Discord.

Refunds

• 14 days, no questions asked. Email us within 14 days of a purchase and we'll refund it in full. Polar sends the money back to the card you paid with.
• After a refund, your access to the repository, downloads and Discord ends.
• We may refuse repeat refunds from someone who buys, downloads and refunds again and again.

Memberships and cancelling

• Arc Lab Studio renews automatically, every month or every year, until you cancel.
• Cancel any time from the link in your receipt email. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
• When a membership ends, the packs you downloaded stay yours.
• We email you 7 days before a yearly membership renews.
• If we ever change a membership price, we'll email you at least 14 days before it applies to you. Founding prices stay locked for as long as you stay a member.

The free playbook

The Vote Loop Playbook is free. Our words, templates and design in it are licensed CC BY-NC 4.0: share and adapt it, credit Arc Lab with a link to this site, and don't sell it. Screenshots and covers of Your Trainer Arc are not covered by that licence.

No promised results

We share our own numbers because they're real, but nobody can promise views, followers or income. Results depend on your ideas, your posting and the platforms.

Pokémon and other brands

Your Trainer Arc is our unofficial, fan-made series and is free to watch. The Arc Lab products contain no Pokémon characters, art or sounds. Pokémon © Nintendo / Creatures / GAME FREAK / The Pokémon Company; Arc Lab is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Don't use our products to copy anyone else's characters or worlds.

Our responsibility

We test everything we sell, but software can have bugs, and other services can change. We provide the products as they are. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
